RTD assists those who are fighting for our freedom by offering free rides to active duty U.S. Military
RTD is supporting our armed forces and appreciate the sacrifices made. As a special "thank you," all active duty members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserves ride free on all RTD services.
To ride free, active duty military personnel must:
Wear the appropriate Class A or Class B uniforms at the time of boarding, or present to the driver an active duty military ID card with the words “Geneva Convention Identification Card” on the bottom.
RTD has approved this program through December 31, 2011. Toward the end of the year the RTD Board of Directors will consider a resolution to extend the program for another year. |
